The 4* Hotel Konigsleiten Vital Alpin is located in the centre of the resort of Konigsleiten, part of the Zillertal Arena Ski Area, the Zillertal’s largest lift-linked ski area with around 150 kilometres of piste. The charming Alpine village of Königsleiten sits at an altitude of 1,600 metres and the main lifts (Dorfbahn) are 300 metres from the Hotel. Ski depot facilities are available at the bottom of the slopes, and a ski bus connects with neighbouring Gerlos and Zell am Ziller and onto Mayrhofen. Transfer time from Innsbruck is around 1.5 hours.
Features
This welcoming 4-star Hotel combines traditional Austrian hospitality with excellent wellness facilities and family-friendly amenities. Guests can enjoy a spacious lounge area, restaurant, hotel bar, wine cellar, lift access, Wi-Fi and a children's playroom. Free parking is available, with garage parking and EV charging facilities offered for a supplement.
Wellness
The Hotel offers an extensive (780m˛) wellness area, featuring an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, saunas (textile and textile-free), steam room, relaxation areas and an ice grotto. Massages and spa treatments are also available (pay locally).
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 2.90 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All rooms feature Austrian Alpine styling are ensuite with TV, WiFi, hairdryer, balcony, bathrobes. Standard ‘Gletscherblick’ rooms (24 m2) are double / Austrian Twin with larger ‘Pinzgau’ and ‘Hohe Tauern’ rooms (34 m2) offering the option of a third bed. Family rooms (45m2) sleeping 2-4 guests are also available.
Meals
Accommodation is provided on a half-board basis with a generous buffet breakfast to start your day and a four-course evening dinner with choice of main course or buffet showcasing regional and international cuisine. Regular themed evenings add variety throughout the week.
Our opinion
In a central location just a short walk from the main lifts, the Hotel Konigsleiten offers typical Austria hospitality in this charming, tucked away corner of the Zillertal Arena ski area. You can expect excellent snow cover at this altitude and the Hotel offers a wonderful wellness area in which to relax at the end of your skiing day including an indoor and outdoor pool.
