The 4* Hotel Alpenrose is a ski in, ski out Hotel which is within 100 metres of the nearest ski lifts (Alpenroselift and Dreiseenbahn) and around 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kuhtai. Traditionally styled on the outside and with a clean, modern interior, the Hotel is ideal for couples and families.
Features
The Hotel features a large reception area, hotel bar, sun terrace with direct access to the slopes, breakfast and dining room, children’s playroom, lift, heated ski and boot room with direct access to the piste, car parking and free WiFi.
There is a 50m2 indoor pool and fitness room and, for guests aged 14 years and over, the Wellness Area includes a steam room, Finnish Sauna, Bio-Sauna and relaxation area. Massage treatments are available (local charge).
Part of the family-run local Gerber Hotels group, Hotel Alpenrose guests benefit from the ‘Gerber Card’ which offers discounts on local Restaurants and mountain huts within the Gerber family.
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 2 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All rooms are ensuite and finished in a clean and uncluttered design with TV, safe, hairdryer and free WiFi. We offer standard Double rooms (24 m2), larger ‘Familien Nest’ Triple rooms (27m2) with a double bed plus sofa bed and Multi-Bedrooms with connecting door (48 m2, 2 x Double bedrooms and two bathrooms) sleeping up to 4 guests.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis with all meals served buffet-style. Breakfast is extensive with an open cooking station and dinner is served from a large buffet area allowing you to choose from a wide selection of soups, salad bar, main courses with traditional and international cuisine, homemade Pizzas and choice of desserts. Children can also choose from a children’s buffet.
Our opinion
A great location with ski in, ski out from the ski room door and a wonderful sun terrace on which to enjoy long lunches or apres-ski drinks.
