The Hotel Neuhaus Apartments are part of the Hotel Neuhaus Zillertal Resort and are located in the partment building opposite the main Hotel. Guests can stay on a self-catering or catered basis and Apartment guests have full use of the Hotel’s facilities. The Neuhaus Zillertal Resort enjoys a quiet location close to the resort centre and covers a large area with a wealth of facilities. The ski bus stops at the nearby train station (around 100 metres from the Hotel) with connections to the Penkenbahn (Mayrhofen) and the other resorts in the Ziller Valley. To walk to the Penkenbahn (Ski Depot at the base station or top of Penken), it is approximately 8 minutes walk along the high street.
Features
The hotel is traditionally decorated and features a reception area, lounge and bar with open fireplace, recently renovated dining room in a modern style, traditional Stuberls, lifts to all floors, wine cellar, heated ski and boot room, free car parking outside the hotel and free WiFi. The Apartments are modern in style and offer a number of different sized Apartments sleeping 2-6 guests.
The Hotel has regular live music on offer and also has its own Movie Bar, Skittles bar and well-equipped Gym. Other entertainment includes a pool table, table tennis and children’s play area.
Wellness and leisure facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool and there is a separate Sauna Village (Kamillen-Dorf / 16+ years) with a further choice of saunas and steam room with massage and spa treatments on offer (local charge). Guests at the Apartments enjoy all the facilities of the Hotel.
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 2.50 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally on check out.
Rooms
Modern Apartments range from Studio Apartments (36 m2) to 2-room (46 m2) and 3-room Apartments (55 / 66 m2) all of which offer a well-equipped kitchenette, dining and living area, bathroom, hairdryer, balcony or terrace, TV, safe, free WiFi, bathrobes and slippers.
Meals
Accommodation can be booked on a self-catering, bed and breakfast or half board basis with all meals taken in the main Hotel opposite the Apartments. Breakfast is an extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet with cooking station and dinner is typically five courses with a choice of soups, salad buffet, starter, choice of main, dessert and cheese buffet. Regional cuisine, weekly Gala or themed dinner buffets.
Our opinion
The Hotel Neuhaus is one of Mayrhofen’s oldest, historic hotels and has been welcoming guests for hundreds of years. The Apartments, opposite the main Hotel, offer more living space for families or small groups and the option to either self-cater or to enjoy dining at the Hotel. It has a great location less than 10 minutes walk to the Penkenbahn or hop on the ski bus which stops within 100 metres of the Hotel.
