The 4* Superior Hotel Elisabeth is one of Mayrhofen’s finest hotels with an emphasis on exclusivity and individuality and combines modern, alpine design with typical Tyrolean atmosphere and excellent service. The hotel welcomes adult guests only and the focus is on a premium, personal and relaxing experience which is complemented with its extensive Elisense Spa and Wellness Area and gourmet food. Located in the resort centre, it is a short walk to the high street and around 500 metres to the Penkenbahn lift (ski lockers available). The free ski bus stops outside the hotel.
Features
The Hotel features a large reception and lobby area which leads through to a stylish bar and comfortable lounge area with open fireplace, cosy traditional ‘Stuberls’, wine lounge and library. There is a large dining room, lifts, fitness room, ski and boot room with a locker for each room and plenty of parking at the Hotel. Free WiFi.
Elisense Spa
The luxurious 1,400 m2 Elisense Spa area is one of the Hotel’s highlights and offers an indoor pool, steam room, sensory showers, relaxation areas and a number of different saunas. Complimentary tea bar and fruit in the Wellness Area. Massages and treatments are also on offer (pay locally).
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 2.20 per person per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
We offer Authentic (28-30 m2) or Premium (50 m2) double / Austrian Twin rooms all of which are ensuite with balcony or terrace, minibar, safe, telephone, hairdryer, flatscreen cable TV, bathrobes and slippers, free WiFi.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis with afternoon snacks and cake available from 3-5pm. Breakfast is extensive with a wide selection of hot and cold buffet items, lots of local, organic produce and sparkling wine. Dinner is typically five courses with a choice of starters, soups and mains with a salad buffet, dessert and excellent cheese board selection. Weekly Gala Dinners.
Our opinion
The Hotel Elisabeth enjoys a great location close to the resort centre and offers an upmarket mix of contemporary Alpine Design and traditional Austrian hospitality for adults only. The Spa and Wellness facilities are truly extensive and of the highest standard and the Hotel’s reputation for its cuisine and service is well-deserved.
