The 4* Hotel Gutshof Zillertal is located on the outskirts of Mayrhofen around a 10-15 minute walk to the centre and offers flexible stays for most of the Winter on a bed and breakfast basis. The Ski bus stops close by and the Hotel also offers a free shuttle from the Hotel to the main lift stations in the morning. Skis can be stored at any of the main lift stations or the Hotel has its own heated boot and ski room.
Features
This small, boutique-sized hotel features a large reception and lobby area, traditionally furnished lounge bar, breakfast room, ‘Mei Tirol’ Restaurant, wine cellar, lifts, heated ski and boot room, free car parking outside the hotel and free WiFi.
Wellness and leisure facilities include a covered heated outdoor pool, fitness room, outdoor Mountain Hut Sauna and wellness area with saunas, steam room and relaxation areas. Massages and Spa treatments are also available (local charge).
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 4.90 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
The Hotel’s rooms are split between the main, more traditional building and a newer, modern wing. We offer Romantic Classic and Romantic rooms all of which are ensuite with balcony or terrace, minibar, radio, telephone, flatscreen cable TV, bathrobe, free WiFi and safe. Beds are typically Austrian Twin – one large mattress or two single mattresses within one bedframe with separate bedding.
Meals
Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis with an extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast and wide selection of breads from the Hotel’s own bakery. The Hotel has its own a la carte restaurant and there is a wide choice of dining options in Mayrhofen.
Our opinion
The Hotel Gutshof is a small and welcoming Hotel offering good quality, spacious rooms on a B&B basis and perfect for a flexible break in Mayrhofen. Getting to the skiing in the morning could not be easier with the Hotel’s own complimentary shuttle service and, with accommodation on a B&B basis, you have the flexibility to dine in at the Hotel’s own restaurant or explore Mayrhofen’s restaurants.
