The family-run 4* Hotel Almrausch is a small and stylish, modern Hotel located in the centre of Hinterglemm within easy walking distance of the lifts and pistes and offers a great base from which to explore the 270 kilometres of the Ski Circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm. With a central yet quiet location, the Bergfried T-bar lift starts behind the Hotel, the nearest ski bus stop is 150 metres away and the Reiterkogel lift is around 300 metres from the Hotel.

Recently renovated Wellness facilities include a choice of 4 different saunas and a relaxation area.
Please note that the local tourist tax of €2.95 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All 31 rooms are en-suite in a clean, modern design with hairdryer, telephone, cable-TV, safe, tea and coffee station and free WiFi, most with balcony. Bathrobes and slippers are available free of charge.
The Hotel offers three different room categories. Standard double / Austrian Twin rooms are around 21 m2 with balcony. Superior 2-3 bedded rooms (8 available) are larger (30-32 m2) with a double / Austrian Twin bed plus sofa bed (single box spring bed) with mountain views to Reiterkogel. Deluxe Family rooms (15 available, 30-30 m2) are 2-4 bedded with a double / Austrian Twin, sofa bed with pull down bunk and a larger bathroom. The bathroom and WC are separate in the larger rooms.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis with a hot and cold breakfast buffet and four-course dinner including a starter buffet, salad buffet and choice of main course and dessert. Afternoon snack (3.30-4.30 pm) and a welcome drink are included.
Our opinion
A smaller Hotel with just over 30 bedrooms, the family-run Hotel Almrausch has a very good reputation for its personal service and is perfect for those looking for a central yet quiet Hinterglemm location in a modern style. The beginner blue slopes of Hinterglemm are close-by and you can ski virtually back to the door.
