The nearest lift, the City Xpress gondola (equipment lockers available here), is approximately 800 metres away, and the closest ski bus stop is around 300 metres from the hotel. With short stays available throughout much of the winter season, the Seevilla Freiberg is also an excellent choice for a stylish ski weekend escape.

Modern, elegant and beautifully positioned by the lake, the hotel enjoys panoramic views across the water from many of its key spaces, including the dining room, lounge, wellness area and all guest rooms, which are lake-facing.
The hotel offers 40 contemporary rooms and facilities including a welcoming reception area, lounge bar, restaurant, terrace, lifts, ski and boot room, free WiFi.
The wellness area is ideal for relaxing after a day on the slopes and features saunas, a steam room and a peaceful relaxation area overlooking the lake. A fitness room is also available.
Please note that the local tourist tax (approximately €3 per person per night for guests aged 15 and over) is payable locally and is not included in our rates.
Rooms
All rooms are bright, contemporary and lake-facing, with private ensuite facilities and either a balcony or terrace. Room amenities include satellite TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer and free WiFi. Bathrobes and slippers are available free of charge from reception.
Meals
Accommodation is offered on a half-board basis and includes an extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast each morning, followed by a four-course evening meal with a choice of main course, plus a daily salad buffet. Apres-ski snack served 3-5pm.
Our opinion
With its unbeatable lakeside setting, stylish interiors and outstanding views, the Seevilla Freiberg is one of Zell am See’s most attractive modern hotels. The combination of designer rooms, excellent cuisine, a relaxing wellness area and easy access to the resort centre makes it an ideal choice for couples and skiers seeking a contemporary Alpine retreat. The complimentary shuttle service to the City Xpress gondola adds extra convenience, while the flexibility of short stays makes it particularly appealing for winter weekend breaks.
