Enjoying a quiet location on a sunny plateau above Rosenegg - a village within the village of Fieberbrunn - the Hotel offers a complimentary minibus shuttle to and from the main Fieberbrunn lift station and our ski hire shop at the foot of the slopes offers 24/7 ski and boot lockers.
There is also a free ski bus service that runs through Fieberbrunn and the surrounding area and the nearest ski bus stop is in Rosenegg, less than 10 minutes walk from the Hotel.
Through generations, the Geisl Family have mapped the Hotel’s evolution from working farmhouse through to small guesthouse and onto its present-day status as a wonderfully stylish and traditional Alpine Hotel. Here you will find a focus on a connecting with nature, a warm reception and traditional Tyrolean hospitality coupled with a modern spa and excellent cuisine using locally-sourced ingredients.
The hotel features a lobby reception (lift passes can be purchased at reception), hotel lounge and bar, panoramic restaurant, a la carte restaurant, lift, ski and boot room, fitness room and free car parking. Free WiFi.
There are also offers five fully equipped individual Chalets with optional catering in the main Hotel.
The Grosslehen SPA
Offering amazing views over Rosenegg and across the valley to the Loferer Steinberge mountains, the hotel’s Spa area is an oasis of relaxation and includes several different saunas, steam room, large relaxation room, terrace and tea bar with a selection of teas, juices and fruits.
Please note that the local tourist tax of €3.90 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
The Hotel offers just 25 rooms in the original Farmhouse (Bauernhaus) or neighbouring ‘Gutshaus’ and around 75 beds in total. There is a good selection of rooms all of which are unique in layout and décor. Standard rooms include the Naturzimmer Premium (20m2) or Superior (20-25 m2) rooms and larger Junior Suites (standard, Seeblick and Kaiserblick) with 25-45 m2 are also available. All rooms are ensuite with hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes, Sat-TV and free WiFi, most with balcony.
Accommodation is on a half board basis: Extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast including organic products and a four-course dinner with a choice of main course or weekly themed evenings with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
The Hotel is part of an organic farm, and the kitchen makes extensive use of local produce with the a la carte Restaurant enjoying an excellent reputation with locals and visitors. The wine cellar offers a great selection of fine wines, many of them Austrian and Bettina will be pleased to walk you through their selection.
A beautifully renovated and traditional Hotel coupled with friendly, traditional hospitality and service make this a great choice for couples and families looking for a true slice of Austria in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Stunning views, amazing food and a superb Spa area. The complimentary minibus shuttle to and from the slopes removes any downside from its location away from the lifts and resort centre.
