Enjoying one of the best locations in Kitzbuehel, the 4* Hotel Schweizerhof lies at the foot of the legendary Streif Downhill and is located just across the road from the Hahnenkamm Gondola. The Intersport Ski Hire shop and Ski Schools (Red Devils & Element3) are next to the Hotel and it is a very short stroll downhill to the resort centre.
Features
The hotel has a lobby reception, lounge with fireplace, house bar, restaurant, lift, terrace, ski and boot room, car parking and free WiFi.
The modern Wellness facilities include a 14-metre indoor pool, whirlpool, relaxation area, sauna and steam room. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked locally (local charge) and a fitness room and children’s playroom are also available.
Please note that the local tourist tax of €1.80 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
There are just over 40 bedrooms in total and all rooms are en-suite and decorated in a modern, alpine style with hairdryer, telephone, cable TV, safe, some with balcony. Bathrobes are available on request from reception.
Standard Classic rooms are 2-3 bedded (Double / Austrian-Twin plus option of third bed) with a small sitting area.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis with a hot and cold buffet breakfast and 4-course evening meal with choice of main course, salad buffet and weekly speciality or buffet dinner.
Our opinion
This small Hotel is modern and stylish and enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine, hospitality and service. The location at the foot of the slopes and next to the Hahnenkamm Gondola is second to none.
