The Q! Hotel Maria Theresia enjoys a great location just a minute’s stroll from the resort centre and offers accommodation on either a half board or bed and breakfast basis with flexible stays welcome for most of the season.
The Hahnenkamm Gondola is approximately 400 metres away and the free ski bus stops within 100 metres of the hotel and takes a couple of minutes to reach the lifts. Ski depot / lockers are available at the bottom of the slopes and in the ski hire shops close to the Hahnenkamm.
Features
The Hotel features a stylish reception lobby (24/7 Reception / Concierge with lift pass service) and welcoming bar area, dining room, ‘Jagerstube’ traditional Stuberl, lifts and a small conference room. There is free WiFi throughout the Hotel and limited car parking is available on site (local charge).
Wellness facilities includes a range of different saunas and a steam room as well as quiet, relaxation areas with water beds. Open from 4 pm – 10 pm daily (or as posted locally). Massages and beauty treatments are also available locally subject to a local charge. Small gym open 0730-2100.
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 3.50 per person per night is payable locally.
Rooms
The Hotel offers 71 rooms in total all of which are ensuite with TV and telephone. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.
Standard ‘S’ Double / Austrian Twin rooms offer around 20 m2 of space, superior ‘M’ Double and 2-3 bedded rooms (approximately 25m2, pictured) have a seating area and balcony and Hahnenkamm ‘L’ rooms are larger again with the option of a third bed, balcony and seating area. Most rooms can be made up with separate / twin beds.
Meals
Accommodation can be booked on either a bed and breakfast or half board basis. Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet service and dinner is 4 courses with a choice of main course. Kitzbuhel offers a wide variety of restaurants from traditional, hearty Austrian fare to Michelin-starred haute cuisine.
Our opinion
The Q! Hotel Maria Theresia enjoys an excellent location just a stone’s throw from the centre of Kitzbuhel and offers quality accommodation with flexible stays welcome for most of the season. Weekend rates are at a premium with stays on Fridays and Saturdays weighted in line with demand. For the best value short breaks, travel mid-week.
