The Hotel Kertess is a traditional Tyrolean Hotel and enjoys an elevated and quiet position above St Anton with great views of the Rendl mountain. It is around 500 metres (10 minutes walk) to the resort centre and guests benefit from the complementary shuttle service to the slopes in the morning (0830-1030 / check locally) and complimentary ski depot at Sport Jenewein opposite the Galzig Lift. The free ski bus stops about 50 metres from the Hotel and operates throughout the day returning 3-6pm approximately every 10 minutes.
Features
The hotel features a reception lobby, lounge and hotel bar, dining room, free WiFi, lift to all floors and ski and boot room (equipment can also be stored free of charge at Sport Jenewein next to the lifts).
Wellness facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Massages are also available subject to a local charge.
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 3 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All bedrooms are ensuite with bath or shower, WC, telephone, radio, TV, safe and hairdryer. Rooms are double / Austrian Twin, 2-3 bedded (Austrian Twin + third bed or sofa bed) or 2-4 bedded with balconies available on request. Twin beds on request.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis. Extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast and four course evening meal with choice of main course, daily salad buffet and weekly speciality buffets. Complimentary afternoon après-ski snacks are served 4-5 pm (check locally).
Our opinion
The Hotel Kertess is traditional and stylish and enjoys an elevated position with great views of the Rendl mountain. Hotel guests benefit from the complementary shuttle service to the slopes in the morning and free depot facilities at the bottom lift station.
