Features
The hotel offers a stylish reception and lobby with contemporary designer furnishings, a welcoming bar and individually designed dining areas, together with a central buffet restaurant.
Other facilities include lifts, free Wi-Fi throughout, a ski and boot room and free parking. Lift passes can be purchased from the reception and the hotel also offers its own in-house ski school and ski hire shop, adding further convenience to your stay.
Bedrooms are located across two buildings, connected by an underground tunnel.
Wellness
The hotel's impressive 1,100m² wellness area includes an indoor swimming pool with swim-through access to a 25-metre outdoor pool, several different saunas, a steam room, outdoor jacuzzi, relaxation areas and a fitness room. A beauty centre and a range of massages are also available at an additional charge.
Rooms
Rooms are available for two to four guests and most feature a balcony. All rooms have en-suite facilities with shower or bath and WC, together with a hairdryer, telephone, TV, bathrobes and safe.
Room types range from standard Double / Austrian Twin rooms to larger Superior Double / Twin rooms, larger Junior Suites and Suites.
Meals
Accommodation is on an all-inclusive basis, including full board and a wide selection of drinks.
A substantial breakfast buffet is served from 7.30–10.00 with a late riser’s breakfast served until midday. Lunch is available from midday until 5pm, with a selection of sweet and savoury dishes alongside a live-cooking station, while snacks are available from the bar from 5pm – 9pm.
Dinner is served from 6.30–8.00 pm and includes a four-course menu, salad buffet and cheese board, with dishes ranging from traditional Austrian specialities to Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Vegetarians are well catered for, and regular themed buffet evenings add variety during your stay.
The all-inclusive drinks package runs from 07.30 until midnight and includes soft drinks and juices, tea and coffee, draught beer, wheat beer, international spirits, cocktails and an excellent selection of Austrian and international wines. Exclusive wines and champagne are available at an additional charge.
Our opinion
The Alpin Resort ValSaa combines a superb central location with an impressive range of wellness facilities and a generous all-inclusive package. With the Schattberg Xpress just a short walk away, excellent dining and drinks included, and over 1,100m² of spa and leisure facilities, it's a great option for skiers who want to be close to the action while enjoying the opportunity to relax and unwind after a day on the mountain.
