The Hotel Schloss Rosenegg is one of Fieberbrunn’s most historic, atmospheric and imposing buildings and is located in the district of Rosenegg within Fieberbrunn. The resort centre is approximately one kilometre from the Hotel and it is around 5 minutes on the free ski bus to the main Fieberbrunn Ski Area (the ski bus stops less than 100 metres from the Hotel). Our partner ski hire shop at the bottom of the slopes offers 24/7 ski depot / locker facilities for your convenience.
Features
The Castle was originally built in 1187 and is full of medieval charm and magic with huge walls and hidden recesses. Napoleon once stayed here and the hotel retains its centuries old unique charm whilst meeting the requirements of a modern, quality Hotel.
A hotel since the 1930’s, the converted castle features a reception hall, Hotel bar, ‘Schloss Taverne’ - the Castle Tavern Bar, two dining rooms, conference rooms, ski and boot room, car parking and garaged parking. Free WiFi – lobby area.
Wellness facilities include a large indoor swimming pool (not supervised, suitable for swimmers, children must be supervised), steam room, sauna, pine sauna and quiet room. The Sauna area is textile-free and for guests from 16 years of age.
Please note that the local tourist tax of EURO 2.80 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
The Hotel offers standard Double / Austrian Twin rooms (22 m2), larger 2-3 bedded rooms (Austrian Twin bed plus third/sofa bed, 25-30 m2) and superior 2-4 bedded (Austrian Twin bed plus 2 x singles or third/sofa bed, up to 35 m2). Reductions apply for the third / fourth person in a room depending on age.
All rooms are en-suite with shower/bath, WC, telephone, TV and safe, most with balcony or terrace. Rooms are unique in their layout and style and are individually decorated in keeping with the building’s traditional castle heritage and character. Bathrobes and slippers are available from reception (deposit €20).
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis with an extensive buffet breakfast, afternoon snack or cake and a 3-course buffet dinner with choice of main courses and salad buffet.
Our opinion
The Hotel Schloss Rosenegg is packed full of history and character and offers excellent value for money. Flexible stays are welcome throughout most of the winter season making this a great choice for a short break or ski weekend.
The ski bus stop is less than 100 metres from the hotel and takes around 5 minutes to the main lift station where 24/7 ski depot facilities are available at our partner ski hire shop.
