Features
The hotel offers a newly renovated lobby reception and stylish new bar area, free WiFi, award-winning a la carte restaurant, dining rooms, lift and panoramic gym. Lift passes can be purchased from the Hotel reception. Garaged car parking is available subject to a local charge.
Spa & Wellness
The Eastern-style ‘Black Spa’ offers an extensive Wellness and Spa (over 1000 m2) and includes an indoor pool, jacuzzi, various steam and sauna rooms, quiet rooms and relaxation water beds. The heated rooftop pool offers stunning views of the mountains and is open afternoons during winter depending on the weather. Solarium, massages and beauty treatments are also available (payable locally).
Please note that the local tourist tax of €3.50 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All rooms are finished in a stylish, contemporary Alpine style and furnished to a very high standard with ensuite shower/bath, WC, telephone, TV, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers for the spa.
Standard Superior ‘Kitzbuhel’ Double/Twin rooms all feature modern, wooden floors, designer furniture and a contemporary feel (third image down). We also offer Double room Deluxe ‘Tirol’ rooms and Junior Suites with private sauna as well as smaller ‘Seidlalm’ Twin rooms with separate beds.
Meals
Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis and the hotel enjoys a deservedly excellent reputation for its cuisine. The Hotel has its own a la carte Restaurant ‘Neuwirt’ (book ahead) and there is an excellent choice of Restaurants in and around Kitzbuhel.
Our opinion
The 4* Superior Hotel Schwarzer Adler is, without doubt, one of Kitzbuhel’s top luxury hotels offering the perfect blend of traditional and contemporary design and boasts a superb Spa and well-deserved reputation for its cuisine.
The central location, attentive service and indulgent roof-top pool all add to the appeal of this Boutique Hotel.
