Haus in der Sonne is a traditional Austrian Pension offering a warm, friendly welcome and personal service in a convenient location close to the centre of Fieberbrunn. It has been part of our winter programme since 1999 and remains a firm favourite with Snowscape guests looking for comfortable accommodation at an excellent price.
The Pension is approximately 300 metres from the resort centre, around a five-minute walk, while the free ski bus stops directly outside and takes just four minutes to reach Fieberbrunn’s main lifts and slopes. Our partner ski hire shops are located beside the lifts and provide convenient 24/7 ski and boot locker facilities, meaning you can leave your equipment at the slopes rather than carry it back to the Pension each day.
Fieberbrunn’s swimming and sauna complex is just 100 metres away, while restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance.

Rooms
Most of the rooms are ensuite Double / Austrian Twin rooms (Austrian Twin rooms have two single mattresses within one bed frame with separate bedding, the beds cannot be separated).
Rooms are available in Economy and Comfort categories, with single, triple and family rooms also available.
Most rooms feature a balcony or terrace and are all individually and pleasantly furnished, with en-suite bathroom (WC, bath / shower) and TV.
Meals
Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis, with an extended continental buffet breakfast served each morning.
Fieberbrunn offers a good choice of traditional Austrian and international restaurants, many of which are in or around the resort centre. The nearest restaurant is approximately 100 metres from the Pension, while the centre is just a five-minute walk away.
Our opinion
Haus in der Sonne is a great choice for guests looking for a friendly, traditional Austrian Pension with excellent value for money. It has been part of our winter programme since 1999 and has built up a loyal following.
Although the Pension isn't directly beside the slopes, the free ski bus stops right outside and the journey to the lifts takes only around four minutes, and our partner ski hire shops offer 24/7 ski and boot lockers beside the slopes.
For guests who prefer a relaxed B&B rather than a larger full-service hotel, Haus in der Sonne offers comfortable accommodation, friendly service and a convenient base for enjoying everything Fieberbrunn has to offer.
