With the addition of the Kitz Deluxe rooms in Summer 2019, there are now seven room categories on offer. Supplements apply for superior rooms.
Standard Alte Post rooms (bottom image) are traditionally furnished and sleep 2-4 guests (28m2, children sharing with parents) with an Austrian Twin / Double plus sofa-bed. Ensuite bathroom, telephone, TV, safe, most with balcony.
Latschenkiefer Double or Twin rooms (second from bottom right) are finished in a more modern Alpine Style and the Spielberg Double (25 m2) and Spielberg Deluxe 2-3 bedded (30 m2) rooms also have a more modern design (5th image down on right hand side).
Double Kitz Deluxe rooms (top right image) offer a very contemporary and exclusive Alpine style with extensive use of local timber and a high-end finish.
Both the Latschenkiefer and Kitz styled rooms are available as Suites with 2 separate bedrooms sleeping 2-5 guests and around 45-55 m2 in total.
Accommodation is usually provided on a half board basis although a small reduction can be made for bed and breakfast only. Breakfast is from an extensive hot and cold buffet with the emphasis on local ingredients and dinner is traditionally Austrian fare with four courses, choice of main and salad buffet. Vegetarian and dietary requirements are catered for. Festive Christmas and New Year’s Eve Gala dinners are included.
A family-run Hotel for many generations, the Hotel Alte Post recently celebrated over 110 years of providing traditional hospitality in Fieberbrunn. Recent renovations to the hotel, the upgrade of many of its rooms and the addition of the superb Spa and rooftop pool combined with the great central location make the Alte Post one of Fieberbrunn’s best hotels and certainly the hotel of choice in Fieberbrunn if you are seeking a traditional, Austrian experience.
