Located in the centre of Saalbach’s pedestrian zone, the nearest lifts and slopes are around 50 metres from the Hotel. This family-run superior Hotel offers an extensive Wellness area (1500 m2 in total) and enjoys a very good reputation for its cuisine.
Flexible short stays and weekends are welcome outside of the high season with a minimum 3-night stay making this a great choice for a quality ski weekend in the centre of this popular resort.
Features
With a mix of traditional and modern Alpine Design, the Hotel offers a lobby reception area, Hotel bar and lounge, dining room and traditional ‘Stuberls’, wine cellar, conservatory, sun terrace, lifts and a ski and boot room. Free WiFi throughout.
The Pool and Wellness Areas (an impressive 1500 m2 in total) have been recently renovated to a high standard and offer an indoor 12 metre pool, whirlpool, a number of different saunas, steam room, relaxation areas with tea-bar and treatment rooms (pay locally for spa and massage treatments).
The hotel also has a panoramic fitness room and games room with table tennis.
Please note that the local tourist tax of €2 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All rooms are ensuite and well furnished with Cable TV, safe, hairdryer, minibar and free WiFi with a number of different room categories on offer. Most but not all rooms have a balcony (we can request but not guarantee a balcony).
We offer Standard Double / Austrian Twin rooms (20m2), Double Superior rooms (24-27m2, 5th image down), Double Deluxe 2-3 bedded rooms (30 m2) and Junior Suite rooms (4th image) sleeping up to 3 or 4 guests. Family Comfort rooms are also available.
Meals
Das Neuhaus is available on half board basis with an extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast, afternoon snacks from 3.30-5pm and a 5-course evening meal highlighting regional specialities. There is a choice of main courses and dietary requirements are well catered for. Children’s menu up to 12 years old. Welcome drink included.
Our opinion
Family-run and in a great location close to the lifts and resort centre, the 4*Superior Das Neuhaus is one of Saalbach’s finest hotels. With an extensive Spa and Wellness Area, it offers a wide choice of room types from standard to luxury Suites and, with short stays welcome outside of the high season, is a great choice for a luxury ski weekend in Saalbach.
