We have always taken a flexible approach to organising your ski weekend or short break and have been offering tailor-made ski and snowboard weekends to Austria since 1999.
Short ski breaks to the Austrian Alps are not an off-the-shelf package with allocated charter flights and, with limited weekend availability, the earlier you book the better the hotel availability and cheaper your airfare. ‘Last-minute’ ski weekends are very difficult to arrange and flights will be very expensive.
We have excellent first-hand Austrian resort and hotel knowledge and offer a professional, personal and flexible service with the aim of maximising your skiing time on the slopes with minimum hassle. From mid-range weekends to top-end luxury ski breaks with private transfers, please just let us know your requirements and we will take care of the details.

As a general rule, the bigger and more well-known the resort, the less flexible hotels are likely to be. St Anton and Ischgl, for example, book out on a weekly basis for most of the season and quite simply have no need for weekend guests. Smaller resorts offer better availability, better value, less crowded slopes and are often close to larger resorts for day trips. Fieberbrunn is a great example: great snow record, great variety of skiing and off-piste, short transfer time and proximity to Saalbach and Kitzbuhel.
High season in Austria includes the New Year week and much of February. During this period, most hotels only accept seven night stays on a Saturday to Saturday basis. For the best ski weekend availability, aim for pre-Christmas, January, early February, March and April.
Our short break ski weekends are usually for a minimum of three nights and we can organise flexible stays of 3,4,5 or 6 nights.
Which resort is the best ski weekend resort? Well, it really depends on what you are looking for in terms of your ski ability, nightlife, hotel quality and, of course, budget.
Let us know your requirements and we will recommend the best option for you and your party based on our extensive local knowledge.
Our Price Guide box to the right gives an indication of the prices for a typical ski weekend package. However, all of our weekends are tailored to your requirements in terms of resort, hotel quality and budget. Whether mid-range or a luxury ski and spa weekend, please contact us here for a personalised quotation.
Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich (Germany) are the main gateway airports to the Austrian Alps. Whilst Salzburg and Innsbruck offer the shortest transfer times, Munich offers a better choice of flights and, in particular, choice of flight times especially if you require a late flight back on your last day to maximise your skiing time. We offer small group minibus taxi transfers that ensure waiting time is kept to a minimum and can also offer exclusive private transfers at a small supplement. We also offer airport car hire including snow tyres, snow chains and ski racks and this is often cheaper than transfers if you are travelling as a couple.
…..a word of warning before booking those super cheap no-frills flights mid-week in high season. In Austria, many hoteliers expect to be full in high season on a Saturday to Saturday basis and, in practice, this is very often the case. Trying to get availability in the centre of St Anton for a short weekend break in the middle of February is quite simply a no-no and, whilst we would like to offer a totally flexible service, our hands are often tied.

Group lessons in Austria start on Sundays and Mondays so, if you are considering a short break with group lessons, arrival on a Saturday for three or four nights works well. If you require ski lessons over a weekend, your best option will be to book private lessons and we can book these for you.
Likewise, we can also book local off-piste guides for half or full days.
There is a cost per instructor / guide plus a nominal amount for each additional person and splitting the cost between a small group is great value.
Whether you are rewarding your team, entertaining clients or wish to host an off-site conference with a difference, the Austrian Alps provide a stunning backdrop and playground.
Combined with our exceptional organising skills and experience, our corporate weekends are tailored to meet your requirements including organising scheduled flights, exclusive transfers, flexible group and individual itineraries, resorts and accommodation to match your aims and budgets and a wide choice of off-slope resort activities.
