The Seevilla Freiberg is a modern Design-Hotel with contemporary rooms, an excellent reputation for its cuisine and stunning views across the lake from its wonderful lakeside location. It is around a 5-minute walk along the promenade to the resort centre and the Hotel offers a complimentary minibus shuttle to and from the lifts. The nearest ski lift (City Xpress, Equipment lockers available) is around 800 metres from the Hotel and the closest ski bus stop is 300 metres.
Short stays are welcome for much of the winter season making this a great ski weekend option in Zell am See.
Features
The hotel is modern and stylish and offers wonderful views across the lake from the dining room, lounge, wellness area and the bedrooms all of which are lake-facing. There are 40 rooms in total and the Hotel features a reception area, lounge bar, dining room, terrace, lifts and a ski and boot room. Free WiFi.
Wellness facilities include a steam room, saunas and a relaxation and quiet area with views across the lake. A fitness room is also available.
Please note that the local tourist tax of approximately EURO 2 per person (aged over 15) per night is not included in our rates and is payable locally.
Rooms
All rooms face the lake and are light-filled, designer rooms with ensuite facilities, balcony or terrace, hairdryer, telephone, Satellite TV, safe and free WiFi.
Bathrobes and slippers are available free of charge from the reception and all rooms are non-smoking.
Meals
Accommodation is on a half board basis: Extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast and four course evening meal with a choice of main course or themed buffet and daily salad bar. The Hotel also serves an après-ski snack from 3-5pm.
Our opinion
The lakeside location and views across the lake are unbeatable and, coupled with the designer rooms and contemporary Hotel design, the Seevilla Freiberg is a great choice for those looking for a modern Hotel in Zell am See. The resort centre is a short walk away and, with short stays welcome for most of the winter season, this Hotel is perfect for a short ski break. The free shuttle service to and from the City Xpress gondola is an added bonus.
