LOCATION

The Hotel Pichlmayrgut is located in the village of Pichl approximately six kilometres from Schladming with spectacular views of the mountain scenery across the valley. The closest lifts, connecting into the Schladming Ski area, are the Hochwurzen Gondola / Reiteralm chairlift and the Reiteralm Gondola. These lifts are all within five minutes drive of the hotel and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle minibus to and from the slopes.

FEATURES

The hotel is typically Austrian and traditional in style and atmosphere with the hotel’s accommodation, bars and restaurants situated around a cobbled courtyard and central reception (ski school reservations and a lift pass service are available at the reception). There are a number of bars, stuberls and dining rooms, lifts, heated ski room, internet corner (free of charge), hairdressing salon, underground car parking and Kids Club from 0900 – 1800 (Monday to Friday). Babysitting is available on request.

SPA and WELLNESS FACILITIES

The Hotel Pichlmayrgut is one Styria’s leading wellness and relaxation hotels and offers extensive beauty and well-being treatments. The following facilities are included in our rate: 13 metre indoor pool, 13 metre heated outdoor saltwater pool, fitness studio (with trainer and free vitality check), yoga and gym room (relaxation programme included), a variety of saunas and steam room, relaxation room, vitamin bar, and activity programme. Subject to a local charge, the hotel also offers massages (sports and relaxation), beauty and cosmetic treatments, squash, bowling and a solarium.

ROOMS

Most rooms are 2-3 bedded rooms (singles and larger family rooms are also available on request) mostly with balcony and all offer ensuite facilities (shower/bath, WC), hairdryer, radio, telephone, Sat-TV, bathrobe, safe and internet connection (local charge). Please note all rooms are non-smoking.

MEALS

Accommodation is on a half board basis including an extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet and five course evening meal with three choices of main course, daily salad buffet, weekly gala dinner and buffet. Complimentary afternoon tea, coffee and cake are also served.

OUR OPINION

The Pichlmayrgut is one of the top hotels in the Schladming area boasting a wealth of spa and wellness options. It enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine and easy access to the slopes for skiers and snowboarders is provided by the Hotel’s complimentary minibus shuttle. Short stays of four nights or more are welcome.
