4* HOTEL FONTANA, half board, Fieberbrunn

The hotel is located at the bottom of the main Streuboden gondola in Fieberbrunn and offers skiing to and from the door. There are a number of bars, hire shops and both ski schools in the immediate area and the resort centre is approximately 900 metres away (10-15 minutes walk ; 3 minutes by taxi). The ski bus stop, with connections to the resort centre and onto the other resorts within the Schneewinkel area (St Johann in Tirol, Waidring), is less than 100 metres from the Hotel.

The hotel features a lobby reception and newly renovated conservatory bar and lounge, large dining room and rustic Après-ski bar (Fontana Stadl) at the bottom of the slopes. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, fitness suite, massage centre and solarium (payable locally). There is also free WiFi in the lobby area, entertainment programme for adults Monday to Friday (eg. Guided walks), ski and heated boot rooms, lifts, car parking and underground garage. Major credit cards are accepted.

For children, the hotel offers a daily Kids Club entertainment programme (3 years old upwards, Monday to Friday). Babysitting is available on request (local charge EURO 9/hour) and the hotel provides baby monitors.

Two and three bedded rooms (family rooms sleeping four and single rooms are also available on request) offer ensuite facilities (shower/bath, WC), balcony or terrace, telephone, TV, safe and mini-bar.

Accommodation is on a half board basis: extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast and four course evening meal with a choice of main course, daily salad buffet and weekly themed evening or Gala Dinner. Welcome cocktail included. Christmas and New Year’s Eve Dinner is included (New Year Dinner includes Live Music and midnight buffet). There is also a children’s menu and separate children’s dining room should children wish to dine separately.
