3* Hotels are often family-run and typically offer a very good standard of traditionally-decorated ensuite accommodation normally on a half board basis. These hotels usually have their own a la carte restaurant, house bar and some leisure facilities such as a sauna or steam room.

**4* and 5* Hotels in Austria**

4* Hotels in Austria provide a high level of comfort usually with excellent leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, Spa and wellness facilities. Cuisine is of a higher standard than in 3* Hotels with menus more varied, international and extensive. 5* Hotels have reached the highest levels of service and comfort in Austria and are some of the finest luxury hotels in Europe with outstanding facilities.
